Apple, of course! This is on a tree given to us as a present a couple of years ago and it's our first apple. At present it is less than an inch across but hopefully it will grow.

There's nothing like a fruit tree bearing it's first fruit! I planted an apricot tree 4-5 years ago and she has yet to yield one apricot! I'm patient; as is she. Hoping one of these years I will have enough apricots to make some jam. Meanwhile, this apple looks scrumptious, Steve. Well done, my friend.

From your shot, it looks full size and ready to rub down and eat! Beautiful capture of your first apple, Steve.

The details of this are wonderful and you framed it well! Just the right amount of green foliage against the fruit. Great shot!

We can't grow apples down here, but I remember them from when I lived up north. Nice close up.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

You sure bagged the detail on that one. Too bad you wont get to eat it. It looks so good, I stole it.
