This is my entry for the competition.
The lady in the picture is my Nana. She was my mother's mother and died some 34 years ago aged 83. She was the eldest of 13 children and was a cook in domestic service, at a girls' private school and at a hospital in her time. I can still taste her turkey gravy at Christmas!
