"Glorious" Heat Haze

The view today at low tide on the beach at " Glorious" New Brighton near the mouth of The River Mersey.

As this is taken at almost full X60 optical magnification and because of the heat haze, I think this image has the look of an oil painting although no manipulation has actually taken place.
