Taken literally from my doorstep this is my ivy-covered gatepost with trees in the background. I loved the different greens that can be found in one image.
It also appears to be the home of that rather content looking spider that's hanging there, within its prestigious web.
A good ivy neighbor, I would say. As it would be sure to keep so many other pesky insects away from your doorstep.
There us something tremendously uplifting about a plant-draped dwelling. It has a sense of history and careful cultivation. It suggests that it is a happy home and a place to bloom and grow.
