I like this shot better than yesterday's. But why are you submitting photos that you took 2 years ago? You're a much more experienced photographer now. Just hop on your private jet and head to Tucson.
Hi Brandon, fascinating how the colours can seem bleached and intense at the same time! I think the landscape might have a slight tilt to the right, but hard to tell with mountains on the horizon.
While the sky is a typical Southwest sky, if you crop half of it and straighten the horizon, you'll find the image is much more dramatic, and gives the desert cactus and vegetation much more prominence, causing no ill effects with the sky.
