This is a great night shot Pier! Have you been to any of the Olympic events? I have watched more television in the last 10 days that I did all of last year :)...I like how the arches are lit up and the reflections in the water. I remember hearing the television announcers talking about it being a "white night" on Saturday when everything stayed open all night long in celebration of the Olympics. Do you live near Torino or did you travel there? I am full of questions.....thanks for your patience and this brilliant photo. Right onto my desktop it goes for the duration of the Olympics! Thanks for posting this for me to enjoy :~)

Great job!! The pier looks so magical. I love the mirror image on the water.

The one who makes you cry is not worth your tears, but the one who is worth your tears would never make you cry.

Your choice of shots is original for an Olympic event. Ordinarliy one sees the usual flags and athletes, but you chose an out of the way location that provides a unique insight and captures some excellent colors and shapes.

Night waterfront shots are always pretty, but any time you can catch the arches of the bridges lit from the underside, pure magic. Lovely glow in the sky from all the city lights as well.

Hello Pier....Nice one....Night-time photography can produce some of the most dramatic images that you can create, and it can also be one of the more difficult types of photography to learn and master.....Well done....All the best...Mick.

Has anyone noticed an "orb" object in the middle top right of the picture?
