Breeze, this is really great. Tough lighting, but you balanced the exposure for the geese, and I think that was the right decision. How in the heck did you sneak up behind these guys? Usually they are so watchful! Gonna put this in my favorites.
I put this straight into favs and on HD the day of your post. It's such a unique shot. Geese are such strong willed birds and it's a rare capture to find them seemingly having a reflective moment. Just gorgeous on the clarity and colors.
Simply stunning colours and shot, well done. I would have preferred the weedy looking foreground of the shot cropped so it doesn't take away from an otherwise great shot. Well done Cheers Al.
This looks very much like a pond in a park near me, complete with the geese, only the trees here have not turned as nicely and I've never seen the geese so contemplative...excellent shot and timing...this goes on my desktop today...my family will enjoy it. : Pat.

I'm hugely fond of Canada geese; amazing colours, nice angle. Does look like they're
admiring the colours, eh? And how do we know they're not? Perhaps geese have an
appreciation for these things, too.
The background alone makes a great picture but to be lucky enough for Canada geese to enter the scene is oneof those great moments that one could wait ages to capture on film in reality - you need a bit of luck and what's known as being in the right place at the right time! Absolutely wonderful - definately 10/10.
what a brilliant image! all those colours...i feel like i'm in the middle of a cartoon, it's just marvellous! and the reflection on the water, all those shades and a wonderful mixture! i'm thorougly impressed :) and the geese...awwwwwww... i can't believe i hadn't seen this pic before. description - one word: perfect.
The lake alone reflecting a myriad of colours would make a stunning shot but to capture three geese admiring the view as well is truly wonderful and is deserving of the highest mark.
The geese do indeed appear as if they are admiring their surroundings. And, I too must ask how in the world you were able to sneak up on these boys? What a unique photo. You'll never see this again. It is a once in a lifetime capture and I'm eternally glad you bagged it.
