The swamps in southwest Louisiana after Rita came in with its gigantic surge and fury. No better place to meditate and become one with nature and the creator.

Even I can not imagine, how bad this must have been for the people there, it looks amazing and beautiful. Shocking, that bad things can look that good. I hope, nothing very bad did happen.

The Cypress trees! Wow....I miss them, I always thought there were so very picturesque! THey are so unique and in a class all their own, and you got this photo perfectly!! And by using the Sepia tone again, you made it all so much more Louisiana style too! I have never forgotten my first try at water skiing in a bayou...and the water snake head popping all around...I was soooooooooo scared, I fell, swam to shore, and never tried it again!! LOL....Thank you so much for reminding me of the old South my friend!...verena

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Whoever puts his trust in God's Son will not be lost but will have life that lasts forever.
