Brand new leaves growing in the swamps after a long cold winter, these will grow more and change to green. Mother nature is at its best in the swamps, all the animals and plants are waking up to warmer days and longer hours of sun light.

this is lovely, i look forward to seeing more swamp shots! the colour of the lily pad is nice, and the water drops on it, also that small green stuff (its name escapse me)makes for something interesting to look at! do frogs live there in swamps? england doesnt have swamps so i dunno.. lol!

I like the colours very much! The water weed - I have too in a stream down the road! It doesn't need a frog - no way, the composition is just lovely the way it is.

Thanks for putting the nice label on this. I might not have even looked at it if I had known there would be a frog on it. Nothing against you, Bryan. Like most people are afraid of snakes...I am afraid of frogs. There. That big secret is outta the bag ->->LOL<-<- Nice pad though, and it's so wonderful to see the swamp waking up, especially when there are NO FROGS. !!!!!!!

Just lovely this teenage leaf. You will have to visit it again in summer, will you? I like the way it is framed by green. Very good job.

A striking contrats of colours, Bryan. All the elements are captured beautifully, the lily pad, the water, the green. This is a poetic composition and the clarity is wonderful. By the way, I love frogs! :)

Great capture - I agree it doesn't need a frog to make it interesting :-)
