A very thin nylon line tied to a low branch. Used by fishermen to tie a trout line from tree to tree. One can only imagine how many fish were caught.

A triptych of a nylon line. Interesting idea and intriguing violet for a backrground. The composition would be even more appealing if you captured the line form different directions, I suppose.

Well you have made me think of fishing again - I just wish it was not so cold! This is a lovely close-up view of the nylon line. I am not familiar with that way of fishing. I'm afraid its a rod and line which I use (not very well), but a great opportunity for photography if I can't catch a fish (sigh).

Bryan, for me this is a 10/10. You did such a wonderful work with this "simple thing". I love this purple background and the lighting and your framing and everything on this shot and put it into my favs.

Hi Bryan,

I truly love this picture, Lightning is excellent for me, especially those purple tints that, to me, represent the blood of the fish cached with the trout line.
I find that the framing is perfect, the three different views of the nylon line add a mood that wouldn't be there if it were to be one picture on itself.
I think the middle one is the best because of the smaller DOF, and by this the increased mysteriousity.

Thanks for sharing such a great picture

An intriguing tryptich...I love the different plays of shadows and lights for the three. The luminous purple background is gorgeous. An excellent study and image, Bryan. :)

Well, you've already gotten a lot of great reviews on this and I just have to say that I agree with all of them...great stuff, Bryancito, my dear.
