Classic style photo of the 40's subtle grays, pleasing to the eye and yet letting your imagination convert the photo into color, actually the last colors one viewed similar images (that's how the brain works, or so I have read ).

hey i see you posted some carnations :-) sorry, couldnt resist!
i can see why you liked shooting in black and white for a long time, this is nice, its dark enough to be mysterious, but light enough you can see what you are looking at, and i really like the whiteness of the candles, a fine shot indeed!

After finally getting to see this fine photo, I don't want to disappoint you with the comment you are going to read here, because I'm assuming that it takes as long for you to upload as it does for me, so I'll just say you've done a pretty darned good job of taking flowers and making mysteries out of them. Nice shot. PJ

It was a fine idea to reduce the colors to the most important. This is a very lovely and romantic image and I enjoy it a lot.

I like how I am sometimes surprised by your images, Bryan. That's a fascinating composition, the lightind and shadows, along with the elements, make it look mysterious and spiritual. A great work. :)
