Lovely, like a winter postcard, it's calm and romantic. Don't laugh, there are still romantic people.

Put some lights on those trees, and you would have a sensational Christmas image. As it stands, is is excellent. It is making me cold, though.

Brrrr. I am definitely a tropics person. Is that just a hint of rainbow coming from top right onto the houses? Didn't think that was possible in these conditions. Like the way the more distant view is misty/foggy.

It reminds me of things to come Paul. This is really a great winter shot. The fog makes it even better. It must have been an emergency to be installing a roof in these conditions. Great vantage point.

This is a gorgeous shot, Paul... It's one winter scene I don't mind seeing, lol! On the other hand, what were you doing risking your neck on a slippery roof?? Last winter I went way out on a frozen pond to get a good shot of a heron on the ice... 24 hours later a man who was ice fishing in the same spot fell through the ice... I guess we'll do almost anything to get that good shot, and this one proves it!

Oh Paul this is fantastic and you take your camera to work with you! Even on a snowy roofing job?! Wow, talk about determination,courage and loyalty..wow, and a good eye for looking out for great photos !. This is a soft, yet starkly cold photo. Georgeous drama here. The snow is always a weakness for me, and here you have fog too, which is such a soft touch to any photo. The Evergreen in the front makes the whole picture even nicer to look at. A grand job on this beautiful scene!! Congrats my friend and 'neighbor'!! Verena

I think that you could improve the composition a bit:
The interesting things to view are concentrated at right (the tree, the houses, ...), but nothing to see at left!
The winter ambiance in nice though :-)
