The I-5 Interstate bridge had spanned the Columbia River between Oregon and Washington since 1917. One of the very oldest remaining bridges like it left on the west coast. There is a new bridge in the works now and the price tag is a little bigger than the bridge!! Hope you like!

Now that's beautiful Paul. It looks like a huge dinosaur skeleton stretching across the water.
Sky and reflections are scrumptious.

This is an awesome capture. Wonderful color and reflections to your shot. It looks to be in good shape for as old as it is. I hate to see these taken down and replaced, but I wouldn't like it much if I were going across when it went down either.

The old bridge makes an excellent compliment to the colorful skies and reflections. Wonderful light, colors and composition. You could take a small bit off the lower span of water, but I can see why you didn't. I hope the new bridge is down the river and not taking the place of this one. Would be a shame to lose it. Saved to enjoy!

What a sunset masterpiece Paul with the bridge spanning the river that looks like molten copper with the puffy tiny orange clouds dotting the sky. I heard that the Hanford, WA cleanup is going so poorly that the Columbia River may get polluted, sure hope that doesn't happen! A+++ and save!

Looks like the old construction includes a vertical lift section to allow for ships...I would guess that the gridlock that results whenever the bridge is opened is one of the reasons why they are replacing it...Nice capture...Faved...
