Most people take their dogs for a walk - these ones get taken for a ride in a custom-made buggy every morning. They appear to be enjoying it, and probably do not consider it the slightest bit unusual. I think it is just a bit absurd:)

I see the same around here .... seems silly to me but they seem to be enjoying it. I have never had a dog small enough to ride in anything but a truck.
