This was on the grounds of the Cathedral in Santa Fe, NM. The grounds were closed off due to construction. This was the closest I could get and the only angle. It broke my heart, because I wanted to photograph this heartwrenching angel from every direction and in all kinds of light.

Lovely photo and great backdrop, but the sizes are a bit strange.

Difficult to tell what's going on in the photo. It's quite a bit out of focus and the colors have potential but are somewhat flat here. From what I can tell, this scene has potential. I would definitely encourage you to reshoot and see what you can come up with. I like the perspective in this image however. Keep posting and good luck!

Actually, not knowing any better, I like the angle! This angel is strange, to say the least. I can see writing all over it, but I can't identify the source. The wings look like tree bark. It seems to be wearing a monk's habit, but the head may have been made to resemble an acorn. And it is either dancing or falling. What an intriguing photo! Photographically, there are some things to nit pick about, but you know you are shooting into the light, and you probably cropped this, etc. OK, I think we ALL want to see more! Will you go back and shoot other views when you can?

If I ever go back to Santa Fe, I will definitely go back and take copious shots of this angel, if I can get any closer.
