What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
Such a sweet thought and a very lovely image. The purple is just gorgeous. Single colour images are unexpectedly growing on me...
This reminds me of those photograph holders with the little clip-type bits you can put the photos in - shaped like flowers etc. - but this one has the photos in jewels or holds jewels... It also reminds me of metal scrollwork like that my grandparents had in the main room of their house.
The only thing I might suggest would be making the scrollwork around the largest jewel look more as though it is holding it in place. The scrolls around the other jewels do this well, I think, so it just looks slightly out of kilter on the large jewel to my eye.
April is very lucky!
