Why is she more beautiful then I? I am the most beautiful of all. I must make her mine. The spirit took the girl and consumed it, doing this the spirit received the girl beauty. I must have more the spirit thought so it floated around until it found another and another. The spirit became so selfish the fellow spirits but a spell on it and turned it in to a gem. A beautiful one, but was cursed for eternity to stay a gem for it selfish acts. Where is it now, nobody knows. . .

Beautiful - wonderful combination of colours. Fantastic work - so much to see and much of it suggestive but indefinite, wonderfully ambiguous and mysterious.
The gem appears to have wings - a sign that the spirit (?) was not completely bound? or a sign of hope despite the binding?

whoa, that's pretty... I like the darkness and how the light falls on it, and the color choice... I think this one;s going to my DT. And the background shapes are especially excellent. That face on the left and the cross and naked branches are quite haunting. lovely.
