I love the light in this beautiful image. Aspens are hard to capture, especially this year after a wet late summer. This is one of the best fall shots I've seen. It positively glows.

I know this now. Every man gives his life for what he believes. Every woman gives her life for what she believes. Sometimes people believe in little or nothing yet they give their lives to that little or nothing. One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. And then it is gone. But to sacrifice what you are and live without belief, that's more terrible than dying.
Joan of Arc
"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." Bertrand Russell
I had already given this shot my D10F, but I had to come back today and put my two cents in...
This pic has been on and off my desktop for a few days now (thanks to pictureshare.net) and I just noticed the little wooden fence for the first time. My eyes were so taken by the color in the trees that I managed to look at this over and over without ever seeing that. Seems like I discover something new every time I look at it now and it just keeps getting better. Great work^^
I have absolutely no idea how I missed this one Tracy. It's on my desktop now and I'm in total awe! Absolute perfection in my book! Obviously into favs too.
I can not belive that nature created such beauty, i could die if i saw this place my self and be happy. beautiful capture. by the way looking at this picture makes me want to drink a cold glas of water.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
As a resident of Colorado, I get innundated with everyone's Aspen photos, but truthfully, this is head and shoulders above most. An image for the "top drawer." Kudos A+++
