I haven’t seen the original but this one is worth seeing. I like the way you used the fence post to break up the dark foreground.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

your version definitely gives it more "oomph"- but the original is great also

Very dramatic, very nice. Has the feel of a black and white photo.

Reminds me of the XP Bliss background - in turn, it looks very professional. Great job and collabo.

even better than the original - no offense at all to the original author - nice contrast

I think the original looks better, your clouds look somehow out of place.
I don't like saying it but i would want to know if i were you

Wow, a fantastic first impact. And it does look great still, but this flaw one notices takes away from the feeling as one realizes that your clouds are out of place light-wise thinking.
The field reveals the sun is behind the photographer, but then the clouds contest this by having the shaded side towards the camera.
On one hand this adds mystery, on the other it makes the viewer feel a bit off.
I'll still give the rework a high vote, the cut is seamless and like said, it delivers an "oompf" to make it worthwhile.

That is cool!! It makes me want to run over the crest of the hill and see what's over there, or see the sun-set again. Just beautiful!!

That sky just doesn't match. With the direction the sun is coming from that shadow on the cloud can't work. It's bright and vibrant, but it doesn't work. IMHO
