I thought that I'd put up the WS version for two reasons - first, I want to increase the number of WS images here on Caedes, and because I messed up resizing it for standard monitors. Stretching this one to fit a standard monitor looks exactly like my standard version.

It is a pleasing backdrop for a desktop. I tried it and for pure color and soft texture with no distractions, this is the one to choose :)

Although I'm already a member of Caedes, I came here in a roundabout way! Found a Caedes wallpaper search (apparently on 'widescreen') in Google, with this wallpaper in it, or it might have been the 1600x1200 version of it. I like this - smooth and soothing with pleasant colours. It should set off the desktop icons quite well.
