Another shot from last weekend. The sun's light was coming through the tall trees and illuminating this spot. Thus the title.

Yep, just beautiful.
I love the pictures with the sun rays coming through the woods.
I'd also reduce the noise in the picture just by a little bit... :)
Kind regards,
Serge :)

Lovely patterns in those clumps of trees and gorgeous light as always.

I'm interested to know if it is noise in the picture - I read that the camera you're using has a slight tendency towards chromatic aberration which might explain the effect. Either way I think it adds - you always get such a wonderful mystical feeling to your pictures.

Another great forest and light pic. I love 'em. I am going to go on a walk in the woods somewhere, and see if I can get results close to yours.

Love it...you have done such a great job with that opportunity you had. This is the jewel in the bunch, I'd say. I'm trying very hard to conjure up some noise here, and I'm just not seeing it. Looks great!!

This looks very much like the woods in my back yard. I'm always trying to catch the sunlight streaming through the tree canopy, but never got a shot a good as this.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Like a light, that shows you the right way. I am not religous, but I think if I would, I would fall to my knees seeing this.
