This is a brighter version of an earlier post which I felt was too dark and much of the detail was lost. So, this is a retry and I hope all can see it better.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Wow, that did make a difference! Such beautiful colors and the lighting is wonderful. The whole scene is just fabulous, John. One of your best and it got faved.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I don't know much about the de novo thing, but I'm glad you started anew with a new biginning of an old post. Speaking of posts. They're sticking up out of the water like the cemetery that was gobbled up by the river when they damned it in Deliverance. Now there's a spooky bit of imagery. The reflections are really good. Could possibly be your best work.
Way to go John.
Well well well John, I think the results speak for themselves, don't you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! +25. Fantastic. It's the score you always deserved for this one.
This is a complex composition. The way the light highlights the big tree and allows the eye to wander from there into the other elements works so well for this. These colors are soothing as is the entire scene. An excellent photo I say. Fav.
