That's pretty neat the way the sun is reflecting all over the place in the Lake. Great colors again, John. I like the path that leads up to the water. Nice job.
My guess is that you did some playing around with this image to get this effect. Really unusual and interesting to look at it.
It is neat to see what we can come up with. sandi♥
If I'm reading this correctly. you're saying the light is taking us inland from the water. Therefore, I see the path around the shoreline beckoning us to the light which is inland. It is a journey for the eyes. Good post and nice title. I'm probably wrong John, but that's how I see it.
Wonderful image. I love the red leaves along the path, they are almost forming an edge for the path. The colours are gorgeous and the sunlight hitting the water is beautiful. Well done.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

This is magical John - it's all in the perspective. Your instinct to get down low was spot-on! The sun is fabulous, just obscured enough behind the trees to avoid throwing your exposure out. Very accomplished and nicely composed.
