I really love this shot John. I am glad I kept my wellies on though! I like how the sunlight catches the grass in between the trees and dappled sunlight on the path ahead. Again with the water element, it gives this shot a real nice feel. Can imagine myself there too! Fav'd and thank you for sharing!

Very nice light and shadows. It's almost like there is a spotlight on the base of that big tree. maybe some little critters are going to put on a show down there. LOL. This looks like a nice quiet place to sit and relax while trying to catch some fish. Good work, John
I love the path. It gives it a friendly, warm feel. It looks like someone regularly comes down to visit. Maybe it is the old tree that is the object of the path. Gone but not forgotten. You have used perfect lighting on the presentation. Nice work John. Have a good weekend.

John, you've certainly done a fine job lately in pointing those paths out to us. It sure as nice to see everything greening up, and as usual your artistry in capturing the lights and the shadows is spectacular!

Bright sunshine, soft light filtering through the branches, rich colours and gentle reflections in the water. How can you beat that combination? Great work John.
