I see you are taking another walk with Norton Shads. You two have become fast friends. I see the respect for each other. The shadows are so good. A little more effect on this one. Looks great.

To answer your question: Neither, it is just there for show. A dispute settler if needed.

This is wonderful, Mr. John... The DOF is amazing and your orton treatment makes it special.

I've always thought the wild needs to keep us as far away as possible, otherwise we'll "pave paradise" until there's nothing left...

This has a 3D look to it, with the way the fence just seems to project right in to the room. Gorgeous scene, John. I like the Orton Effect. I also like the light and shadows. Good work.

Good question John. These days I think it's to protect the wild from us, don't you? Except in the remaining wildrnesses, nature is much more at risk from us than we are from it. I like the ideas that have gone into this, not 100% sure about the treatment but it's a nice dreamy and evocative piece.
