Definite moody atmosphere. The added element of the person adds to the effect. Although I would likely contemplate everything but a solution if I were there...I love that sky and the dramatic lighting.

I think he came to one solution. How to make a great scene from a great photo. It looks like Norton meets FDR. I really like the dark colors and the silhouetted figure. His being dark signifies a couple of things for me. First, the problems are perhaps too many and the solutions too dark. Secondly, there is a new problem solver in charge and he is the first of his race to hold this high office.
I hope I get this in the VB. Good post Shads.

Very lovely and very moody. I like the fellow and bench by the tree. Such a contemplative scene. I hope both you and he don't have any problems that need solutions.

I think that guy is contemplating going fishing. Probably has his gear back in the truck. Excellent HDR, John. I love that sky.

Love this! The cloud-studded sky and the river are huge, but it all comes down to the lone, tiny figure sitting on the bench... perhaps he's contemplating his own role in the universe, maybe he's asking questions about things beyond his grasp, or... he could be wondering if he wants pancakes or scrambled eggs and kippers for Sunday brunch...
