This is lovely John. I like the way you have worked this one. I seem to recognise the buildings, perhaps in a past image, but love the way this blends together. Great piece of work - well done!

Wow, this is really wild, John! I like the way the underside of the umbrellas looks like metal.

I'm not sure what all you manipulated here, but it comes together beautifully, John! The reds and greens are quite striking, as is the colours and reflections in the windows and the flooring. But I especially like how the umbrellas look like metal (and I now see that Cindy thought the same thing)..lol. Very well composed!

So we're in Tuscany then? or maybe... we're just daydreaming about Tuscany. I've done that... Have you ever heard about a movie called Stealing Beauty? (Liv Tyler, Jeremy Irons) it's about a young girl who joins a group of people in a 'commune' in Tuscany, searching for her father. The reflected building and the umbrella artwork remind me of the movie.

I think the umbrellas look like mirror/glass Shads. There seems to be a lot of reflections/memories at work in this one. Each layer represents a period it time. Blend them together and you have a lifetime. Thought provoking.

Oh drats, John....I just want to BE there!! I want to take a trip somewhere, but I guess since I don't go by plane, I can't go so far. But you captured the feelings and colours for this just perfectly. The umbrellas, the sky, the glass reflection they are all just fantastic . Great job my friend. Verena

Does this mean you've been to Italy John, or is there a Tuscany in the US? Nice reworked elements here that give this the fantasy quality I've come to associate with your work.

It's like a painting John - I can't make out whether you have put two images together or whether it is a reflection. Whichever way, I like the dreamy effect .....I think it is Tuscany in Italy or how you think it is!
