To accompany "Deep Into The Woods" and to start your Sunday morning off with a bit of humor. Here are a few quotes from Jack Handy (sometimes his name is also spelled Handey):

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Is there anything more beautiful than a beautiful, beautiful flamingo, flying across in front of a beautiful sunset? And he's carrying a beautiful rose in his beak, and also he's carrying a very beautiful painting with his feet. And also, you're drunk.

If you ever catch on fire, try to avoid seeing yourself in the mirror, because I bet that's what REALLY throws you into a panic.

I wish I would have a real tragic love affair and get so bummed out that I'd just quit my job and become a bum for a few years, because I was thinking about doing that anyway.

If you go flying back through time and you see somebody else flying forward into the future, it's probably best to avoid eye contact.

One thing vampire children have to be taught early on is, don't run with wooden stakes.

I believe in making the world safe for our children, but not our children's children, because I don't think children should be having sex.

I think these lovely woods are a lot deeper than Jack Handy! lol
I like the combination of blue light and wonderful greenery. The shadow and light make this such an appealing image. I could get philosophical in a place such as this.

I like the quote about being on fire the best. That's funny. They all are, though. Nice shot of the woods. Beautiful colors and lighting. I like the way the leaves look blue in some areas, but then...maybe those are a mess of blue butterflies just sitting around. LOL. Well done, John.

I always loved Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy. I was surprised to find he was a real person and it was spelled Handey. I always though he should title a book: "Deep Thoughts of a Shallow Mind." However he never asked me.

I like the editing on this one Shads. The trees look black. Great use of light.

Beautiful... It HAS to be an enchanted forest what with that light filtering through it and all. Someplace where you might see birds flying backwards and hear butterflies talking, and such like... Actually this is really lovely. And i love the quotes, especially the one about the flamingos... ;-)

I really like this and into my fav's it is going. I love the play of light on the leaves and how they stand out so well against the darker back ground of the trees. Well done and thanks for sharing!

I like the blue light in the background contrasting with the bright sunlight in the foreground John! It creates a mystical atmosphere which you have captured well!

ps I would definitely not advise looking in a mirror when you are drunk John, especially if it is a 10x makeup mirror like mine! arrghhhh! lol!

What an amazingly talented person you are. I told some people on youtube about the great images you do. This is outstanding, but I don't recall anything you've done that wasn't.
