Wish you had said that earlier John, as I was waiting for the bus to come on the wrong station, lol. Very creative work again my friend. Modern art Pur Sang! Regards, Cornelius.
Don't think you'll find me waiting at that bus stop in the dark of night anytime soon...weird and wonderful creativity here, John...great entry...good luck.
The COTA has over 4600 bus stops Shads. I am guessing this one is very special to you. You have created a new style I believe. I think I will call it Deccostract. Lovely creation.
I wouldn't be honest if I didn't say that I don't know what to make of this. I know you had an idea for its meaning when you created it or maybe you just like the way the elements came together. I can say that I like your choice of colors, the geometry of the separate parts and the Escheresque nature of the seat with two legs. Should do well in the contest. ;0)
Maybe if they made all bus shelters this interesting more people would use mass transit systems. I love all the hidden faces in your creation. A very imaginative design.
This creates a real disturbance in me - very bizarre!
I think the face in the bag and elsewhere on the bench is all that is left of the waiting passenger who has been taken away by some unknown force from this very strange bus shelter. Or perhaps it is the face of longing - longing to be packed up and taken away from everyday life on a magic bus - in a orange shopping bag :) A different interpretation could be given each time it is viewed - I love it :) Creative and thought provoking.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Wow John you have come on in leaps and bounds since the last time I looked in. This is a great abstract and the more you look at it, the more you see. Brilliant work indeed my dear friend. Ann :)
I think it's a number 5 me'sel!..lol
Some fine work here from you
