A variation on a theme by Simon and Garfunkel? Pretty cool scene, John. Super color and lighting.

I hope this area isn't prone to flash floods. A nicely composed scene with good lighting.

This one's a beauty, John, and quite a departure from all of your recent shots of Annabelle. The narrative, as always, is very educational and sheds a great deal of light on the techniques you use to provide us with your wonderful postings. Based on the trees which seem to be leaning every which way, my best guess is that your shot is right leaning. Very nice job of capturing this shady scene in some difficult lighting.

John - Raging timbers can be troublesome! lol I suspect this is a seasonal stream on ground that is never quite dry enough on which to walk, thus the bridge. And thus - a terrific photograph. Thad

Just wanted you to know I viewed your pretty image. I am recovering from botched eye surgery (cataract removal ) that did not go right. I will recover normal sight but it will take time.
