The Holy Bonds of Matrimony was taken on my way over to the Court of Common Pleas (the glass front building in the background) where I was serving as a juror last week.

Taken with my Motorola cell phone.

Well John, if I was to marry again, Im not sure it would be there!! ha ha Would prefer somewhere much more scenic to be honest. But what I do like in your image is the contrast between modern and old architecture which you have captured perfectly. I like all the lines in this too. Well done!

I do like that sign which invites you to come get married.Ironic that a bail bond sign is there too and a law court in the vicinity...Kinda sums up life doesn't it?....R.

And get divorced over at the courthouse! Interesting shot, John. I think I will stay single, and just go in Subway for a $5.00 12" sub.

Love the big letters in the windows. I guess getting married can be a very lucrative job for those officiating. Love the typical downtown scene representative of so many cities across this country.

----Get married here---

John, I can't accept the invitation on the sign, because I'm lucky married for more than 43 years with the same woman, lol.

Interesting shot though. Typical American scene to me.

Regards, Cornelius.

I only thought they advertised 'to get married' in Las Vegas. A neat capture, John ... the reflections in the windows caught my eye too. Excellent detail from a camera phone as well.

I'll pass on the getting married part, but I do like the scene of the city, and the contrasts of old and new, and I love the reflections of the windows. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Get married and get one Get Out of Jail free card too! Neat capture John. Glad you did not get all tied up being a juror with a big long case.

Very nice scene of life John. Early morning light, almost nobody in the street, a wake up of a city ; a great image for me.
