That sky is sure nice John, a good clear capture of downtown. Brings back memories of that song from the 60's. :) Is that the courthouse lawn on the right? I'm guessing this is in Columbus?

Although the (traffic) signs, license plates and hydrant are different, it could be a small town in my country as well. I like this image because it's so a commonplace scene without frills. But the sky however is not such a commonplace , because it's a very nice one.
Good work John.

Regards, Cornelius.

John - Hold that one space available, I'll get the car over there shortly. For a small town, parking is at a premium. Framing the image as you did, the road markings and buildings align to give a balanced look. Good rule of thirds comp. Thad

Another great shot of Mt. Sterling, KY----Shads.
Just guessing of course.
Aren't you glad you don't have to parallel park?

What a beautiful view of the gorgeous downtown area. I guess I'll be racing Thad to get to that free space. Looks like a wonderful place to walk past and through the wonderful stores

A handsome looking town and capture of the scene, John. The shadows could be decreased to lighten the scene. A little bit of cloning would smooth out the lines in the sky.
