Thad, I appreciate you commenting on my pictures and now that you have mentioned it, for the third time, that you do not care for my post treatment of my pictures I thought I might explain that I do like the treatment and have been using it for a long time. I like the emotions it adds and I will probably continue to create my pictures around what interests me and my senses. As I mentioned, I do appreciate and I do value your comments. I do not expect everyone to view my pictures and see what I see and feel what I feel. But, I can always hope they do.
I like what you do, whatever it is you use for this result, it's different, and for me adds interest. We all have our own tastes, and like you I value all comments. tigs=^..^=
The treatment makes it quite mesmerizing with an air of mystery. I like your play on words in the title :) Lady Violet The Dowager Countess may not approve though.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I like the treatment you use, John, and it works particularly well on this scene with all the fallen and twisted branches and plant-life...great work...another possible for the contest perhaps.
This is really beautiful. I sometimes try to imagine what a scene like this would look like without any processing , especially one as unique as this , I imagine others do too.
The place really has overgrown itself since they were forced to reduce the staff at the manor. A great looking scene and lovely post work on the image.
