I have sweet teeth. (Yes, you read correctly.. not a sweet tooth, but, a mouthful of said-same.)
Really nice work, John.
Even prior to reading your title.. immediately conjured up the image of chocolate covered cherries. They were my grandma's fav.
Good good clean render, nicely composed. Colour palette is droolicious.
+favs for me.
And..
But, of course.. thanks for sharing this one with us.
p.s. It's not only craving inducing, I find your image to be calm inducing as well. For whatever reason, and this in light of the Dutch angle/style perspective.
Black Australian licorice is my candy of choice, but I never turn down chocolate. And Sees chocolates in particular, especially truffles. But never with nuts. Yuck. These look tasty, can you render me out a few dozen on credit? I'll gladly pay you on Tuesday.
You've fixed it again John, this time making watering my mouth, ☺ . I'm in doubts now: continue enjoying your perfect render or to hurry to the chocolate shop in the nearby shopping mall. You've 'created' a dilemma for me, my friend!

It almost 1am and this has given me a fit of the midnight munchies. There is not a cherry or a choccy to be had though. A splendid image - realistic in a mystical way.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
