"The Museum of Fictional Literary Artifacts, The Masks of Thalia and Melpomene

These masks are often used in modern times to symbolize theatre. They are associated with the two main types of drama: comedy and tragedy. Therefore, it is said that they were owned by Thalia and Melpomene, respectively. Thalia is the muse of comedy while Melpomene is the muse of tragedy. The presence of satire in a lot of art makes it darkly fitting that these two are so frequently associated with each other."

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

I can't tell if it's a modern-day sarcophagus or a digital hockey goalie with a curved stick in his left hand. Wild!

Melpomene is the daughter of Zeus and Thalia is the muse of comedy.

Oh, how often I have come across exhibits and archaeological references, of these and other's pertaining to the theater!
