Now, now my good man, this is no time to be making enemies.

Poor God, how often He is blamed for all the suffering in the world. It's like praising Satan for allowing all the good that happens.

I see this one as slide to satan's den for those who don't behave themselves. I love the intense red, and contrats. tigs=^..^=

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

My initial impression was that it reminds me so much of Yosemite National Park's Horsetail Falls that, at certain times of the year, catches the setting sun and glows as though it was fire dropping off the edge of El Capitan. Very cool, John.

John, John, John...your creativity amazes me. Striking scene, I agree with Sandi's comments, "a slide to Satan's den". And once again, your quotes and comments are the frosting on the cake.

It looks a frightening place - not for this granny to venture into but will enjoy from here.
Very powerful John

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The dark red color, the sharp, jagged edges, the slight glow, hinting at something burning violently beneath, all work together to make this somewhat disturbing, for lack of a better word...in keeping with your reference to Satan, I see this as his final descent and fate..."And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone..." (Revelation 20:10)...sobering and thought-provoking...as always, thoroughly enjoyed your quotes as well.
