Mike did not seem to grasp the idea of Creation itself. Well, Jubal wasn't sure that he did, either--he had long ago made a pact with himself to postulate a Created Universe on even-numbered days, a tail-swallowing eternal-and-uncreated Universe on odd-numbered days--since each hypothesis, while equally paradoxical, neatly avoided the paradoxes of the other--with, of course, a day off each year for sheer solipsist debauchery.
Robert A. Heinlein, Stranger in a Strange Land

Jezebel wasn't born with a silver spoon in her mouth
She probably had less than every one of us
But when she knew how to walk, she knew
How to bring the house down
Can't blame her for her beauty
She wins with her hands down
Sade, Jezebel

I am ... I said
To no one there
And no one heard at all
Not even the chair
Neil Diamond. I Am ... I Said

I am my world.
Ludwig Wittgenstein

Jezebel, Sade

My knowledge about Solipsism isn't big, John. Glad that Wiki was helpful to me. In that perspective your post (creation and narrative, inclusive the links) is an excellent example that's a contrary that solipsism goes further to the conclusion that the world and other minds don't exist, and that only one's own mind is sure to exist, ☺ .

On solipsism, there's a couple missing quotes... quotes from the same person:

"I think I could have stopped it (9-11) because I have very tough illegal immigration policies, and people aren't coming into this country unless they're vetted and vetted properly."

"To be blunt, people would vote for me. They just would. Why? Maybe because I'm so good looking."

"I'm the most successful person ever to run for the presidency, by far. Nobody's ever been more successful than me. I'm the most successful person ever to run. Ross Perot isn't successful like me. Romney - I have a Gucci store that's worth more than Romney."

"I will be phenomenal to the women. I mean, I want to help women."

Your fractal is very cool, John, like looking at a cross-cut view of the Grand Canyon.

There's nothing grand about the guy whose quotes I just posted, a guy who literally screams solipsism. I'll take your work over his, any day.

Well, I am mystified. I thought Neil Diamond got it right - and now here is a contrary view.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Having just come from your musical link, I must say first, what an amazing song and video...and the photography is fabulous...as for the theme itself, to me it is quite a paradox...on the one hand it screams of pride and self-love yet there is something terribly lonely about it all...and your image aptly portrays that with the bold strong color and design in the foreground and the dark, mysterious color in the background...a superb post, John, and a fave for me.
