La La Land
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If I had a flower for every time I thought of you...I could walk through my garden forever.
Alfred Tennyson

The first peace, which is the most important,
is that which comes within the souls of people
when they realize their relationship,
their oneness with the universe and all its powers,
and when they realize that at the center of the universe
dwells the Great Spirit,
and that this center is really everywhere,
it is within each of us.
Black Elk

Sometimes when you lose your way in the fog, you end up in a beautiful place! Don't be afraid of getting lost!
Mehmet Murat Ildan

I am nothing special, of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me, this has always been enough.
Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook

I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.
Pablo Neruda, 100 Love Sonnets

I agree how this draws you into the imagery, well done, and for me I did see that movie, and I know it was big deal, but I did not much care for it. Great match for the theme. tigs=^..^=

John, some remarks from my small country (the Netherlands) about this film: it was shown in 87 cinemas at the time of the release. An important Dutch paper awarded the film with 'five out of five' stars and wrote: "No matter how simple the story about the inevitable love of these two related souls and their respective career rubbish is, what really makes the film stand out from itself is the genius script and choreographed end." Another important Dutch newspaper gave this movie four (out of five) stars for 'the most nostalgic film of the year', and - although Stone and Gosling were criticized for a lack of chemistry - there was admiration for the dream world that Chazelle created.
Your excellent SNATM-theme(🎥) contribution is a good 'tribute' to this movie, emphasized by your well selected quotes and music link!
Very well done, per usual

As usual your creation here is not only eye catching but also draws the eye down to the bright center piece. I have no idea what this movie was about and so I cannot make any comment about that.

I really love your creation of La La Land, Strat. It is beyond my limited skills to even imagine how you did this. I know where your love and heart lies, and I can feel your journey in this beauty.

I didn't care for the movie. I thought it was overrated. The critics loved it and everyone jumped on the bandwagon.

My feeling for the movie doesn't interfere with my admiration of this wonderful work. Great for SNATM👍👍

I really like this John - fits really well with the movie especially with the "story" told in your quotes. I loved the film - the freeway scene alone was worth the price of admission.
