I always thought while I was sleeping
That I could somehow fly away
Run and leap into the open
Make my getaway
Robinella - Press On

Good-night! good-night! as we so oft have said
Beneath this roof at midnight, in the days
That are no more, and shall no more return.
Thou hast but taken up thy lamp and gone to bed;
I stay a little longer, as one stays
To cover up the embers that still burn.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

And Aubrey was her name
We tripped the light and danced together to the moon,
But where was June
No it never came around
If it did it never made a sound,
Maybe I was absent or was listening to fast,
Catching all the words, but then the meaning going past
David Gates, Bread, Aubrey

Press On, Robinella

Wow! I don't mind saying this one got to me John.
When I saw the lady alone, waiting for her beloved to join her, I thought of what Heaven must be. It appears she is walking forward to greet us. It speaks to anyone who has lost someone dear.

Spectacular creation. The colors are bright and hopeful.

The song by Robinella tells us to remember, face our sadness and press on until the day they meet again arrives. I'm glad I posted an Eagle today.

A Thousand Years added to this very emotional work of art.

Faved of course.

This is a real art, John. A fantastic and colorful place for strolling. The choice of "illustration" is excellent.

John, after looking at your beautiful render, letting the quotes work on me and enjoying the music you selected, I can add little to the superlatives suggested by Tick. However, he hits the nail on the head!
