All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost.

Bilbo's Ring. He's gone to stay with the Elves. He's left you Bag End. Along with all his possessions. The ring is yours now. Keep it secret. Keep it safe.

The spirit of Sauron endured. His life force is bound to the Ring, and the Ring survived. Sauron has returned. His Orcs have multiplied. His fortress of Barad-d'r is rebuilt in the land of Mordor. Sauron needs only this Ring to cover all the lands in a second darkness. He is seeking it...seeking it and all his thought is bent on it. For the Ring yearns above all else, to return to the hand of its master. They are one; the Ring and the Dark Lord. Frodo...he must never find it.

The Ring has awoken. It's heard its master's call.

Great work, John, I sense energy there. I am not a fan of the Lord of the Rings, but the music is fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

John by reading your narrative (in particular the first line), the lyrics of this song came into my mind.
Your excellent render, Gandalf quotes, and music links are a perfect representation for the SNATM-theme (🎥) !
Very well done again. S+F, thanks, 👍 !

This is a tremendous work of art, a favorite for me. You take us to places we have never been, to listen to music we have never heard and to fall in love immediately with what you present to us.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have never read the book or seen any of the movies John.
I find I do like the music thanks to your addition to SNATM. 👍👍 I was like SEA about All that glitter is not gold and the song.
You hold to the theme well with your beautiful rings and musical look to an absolutely stunning creation.
Thanks for enlightening me a tad.

Boggies are an unattractive but annoying people whose numbers have increased rather precipitously since the bottom fell out of the fairy-tale market. Slow and sullen, and yet dull, they prefer to lead simple lives of pastoral squalor. They don't like machines more complicated than a garrote, a blackjack, or a Luger, and they have always been shy of the 'big folk' or 'biggers' as they call us. As a rule they avoid us, except on rare occasions when a hundred or so will get together to dry-gulch a lone farmer or hunter. They seldom exceed three feet in height, but are fully capable of overpowering creatures half their size when they get the drop on them ... Their beginnings lie far back in the Good Ole Days when the planet was populated with the kind of colorful creatures you have to drink a quart of Old Overcoat to see nowadays.

Like Tick, I too never watched any of those movies but this image is certainly a wonderful abstract depiction of the movie title...love the dark tones, design, and depth...and of course, the quotes and music as well...thanks so much, John, for this great addition to SNATM!
