Destroying a tropical rainforest for profit is like burning all the paintings of the Louvre to cook dinner.
E. O. Wilson

Lost in the forest, I broke off a dark twig
and lifted its whisper to my thirsty lips:
maybe it was the voice of the rain crying,
a cracked bell, or a torn heart.
Pablo Neruda, Lost In The Forest

My aspens dear, whose airy cages quelled,
Quelled or quenched in leaves the leaping sun,
All felled, felled, are all felled;
Of a fresh and following folded rank
Not spared, not one
That dandled a sandaled
Shadow that swam or sank
On meadow and river and wind-wandering weed-winding bank.
Gerard Manley Hopkins, Binsey Poplars

The city is not a concrete jungle, it is a human zoo.
Desmond Morris, English zoologist, ethologist, and author

Jurassic Park , John Williams

I just watched a special on the Rain Forest on the History Channel the other day John. Years ago when they talked about how UFO's and alien invasion would destroy our planet, the only thing destroying our planet is the invasion of mankind. Sad but true!
It looks like the wind is blowing in your creation and the Big Eye in the sky is watching over the rain forest.
I like E.O. Wison's quote.
Super all around good work once again.

John, to me the comparison made by E. O. Wilson hits the nail on its head. Very actual these days!

This doesn't say that the other quotes aren't good, it's on the contrary however. Your music links are per usual well chosen too, but the well known cherry on top op the cake is your render. Simply a fabulous work, so it's S+F by me.
Thanks for sharing this masterpiece, 👍 !

A beautiful image to show the rain forest. Just such a destruction is going on in the Amazonas.

Great and rich with elements and colors work, John. The illustration is a story of its own. I love it.
