I am all in a sea of wonders. I doubt; I fear; I think strange things, which I dare not confess to my own soul.
Bram Stoker, Dracula

I like the scientific spirit‐the holding off, the being sure but not too sure, the willingness to surrender ideas when the evidence is against them: this is ultimately fine‐it always keeps the way beyond open‐always gives life, thought, affection, the whole man, a chance to try over again after a mistake‐after a wrong guess.
Walt Whitman, Walt Whitman's Camden Conversations

The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.
Bertrand Russell

The finest thing under the sun and moon is the human soul. I marvel at the small miracles of kindness that pass between humans, I marvel at the growth of conscience, at the persistence of reason in the face of all superstition or despair. I marvel at human endurance.
Anne Rice

Stars, Warpaint

Paint It Black, MonaLisa Twins

You are expressing something deep in the soul and each one must choose what it is they are willing to perceive. Very provocative imagery John.

John, this contribution (especially the image) shows us again that your artistic versatility has many faces.
It would be an excellent entry for the 'Desktop Wallpaper' contest.
If you decide to do this, I wish you the Best of Luck with it!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

You expanded my musical horizons once more John. You find the coolest artists buried on youtube than I can imagine.
They are probably all well know, just not by me.
Your creation is utterly stunning. It would make for a great desktop wallpaper with all the negative space.
Good luck should this be your entry.

I don't know if you are an artist or a poet. But I like your work. This is especially good for a wallpaper because it doesn't interfere with my icons, it just adds to the ambiance.
