Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender
Turn your face away from the garish light of day
Turn your thoughts away from cold, unfeeling light
And listen to the music of the night
The Phantom Of The Opera, The Music Of The Night

The Music of The Night, The Phantom of The Opera, Ramin Karimloo

I don't know how to love him.
What to do, how to move him.
I've been changed, yes really changed.
In these past few days, when I've seen myself,
I seem like someone else.
I don't know how to take this.
I don't see why he moves me.
He's a man. He's just a man.
Jesus Christ Superstar, I Don't Know How To Love Him

I don't know how to love him, Jesus Christ Superstar, Yvonne Elliman

I dreamed a dream in time gone by,
When hope was high and life, worth living.
I dreamed that love would never die,
I dreamed that God would be forgiving.
Then I was young and unafraid,
And dreams were made and used and wasted.
There was no ransom to be paid,
No song unsung, no wine, untasted.
Les Miserables, I Dreamed A Dream

I Dreamed A Dream, Les Miserables, Anne Hathaway

Always you, every thought I'll ever know
Everywhere I go you'll be, you and me

Tonight, tonight, it all began tonight
I saw you and the world went away
Tonight, tonight, there's only you tonight
What you are, what you do, what you say

Today all day I had the feeling a miracle would happen
I know now I was right
For here you are and what was just a world is a star tonight

A colorful stage for dramatic personae gilt, like art deco...beckoning like Broadway lights, a spectacle, a mirror, "And like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself
Yea, all which it inheritshall dissolve,
And like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind."

John, If I would a spectator of any performance in this theater, think I would haven't any eye for the 'show'. The curtains and stage would mesmerize me completely, 😁 !
A perfect render however. The same about the quotes and the music links.

My initial thought was to expect to see a modern European opera played out on the flat ^stage^ at the bottom here. Once envisioned, however, that is all I see now.
