for vairation i wonder how different the composition would look if the main subject leaf was at some diagonal angle, youd have had to pick it up and turn it by hand though cos that lilly is well placed where it is!

other than that its got exquisite colours which give the impression of being rich and deep but play together very very delicately

the long shadows esp the one across the lilly really do carry the feel of the tiredness of autumn or maybe the serene quiet of a fading season
