It almost looks like it's coming up out of the water - the right tip is still under the surface (or that's what I see). :) Great colors - it's an interesting composition!

:\, the fractals are nice, but the filter you've used over the top... ruined it... I would've kept it on a black background. (this is assuming you used photoshop)
