That's truly a stunner, you got a 10 in the VB and a favourite from me too. The familiar made unfamiliar with colours, and a great composition to boot.

The colours are a bit dull. I think it may benefit from and increase in intensity (doing so with tone curve would be best). Perhaps turn the intensity up fairly high and then bring it all down again withh gamma change. If you increase the saturation of blue, yellow, green and magenta seperately, you can get a very rich and bold feel too. There is also a blotch of darker blue on a far right petal. I would PS that out. I have been looking at your flower pics and I like this one the best. Its more about colour than flora. 7.5/10

i really like the idea here! i do agree with the above comment that it would benefit from sharper colors, but it's still a very nice,unique image :)
