Sitting here, frozen in time, trying to make sense of my life, what to do next. Decided to go back through my photos, maybe looking into the past will help project into the future? What is it I want to do with my life? My camera lays idle, even that does not give me solace at this time. I came upon this old image, taken the same time as Sunset at Hungry Horse, just a different perspective. Seems like I am all about Reflections these days. Hope you enjoy.

Wow Carol. This is great. It almost looks like two separate photos. It doesn't get any better than this. As for your reflective journey--I am sure you will be thankful for the steps that made you the person you are today. Thoughtful and kind.

If I had this colorful of a past with my photography, I'd certainly do as you are: look to it for inspiration for the future.

Hi Carole, I sure do enjoy your photos!! Photography is one of the most wonderful gifts any of us can have. Sometimes our cameras "lay idle" only for a short bit to give us time to ponder and focus on things we want to do, and if they always begin with a photo, well, that's a gift for sure. On my worst days I always have my 'friend'..my camera. And somehow it always gives me gifts in return. You have photos that i enjoy a lot, as you know, and I am waiting for more soon..This photo is just fantastic, the quiet is felt thru every colour here.The beautiful reflections are just magical. It's one of those photos that just pulls you right into the feeling and mood of it..thank you so much. Verena

I know what you mean about your camera being idle. I think we all have to put it down occasionally to give ourselves a break, but then come back with renewed enthusiasm with fresh ideas which we found while being away. We all look forward to seeing your new posts once you have picked it up again. And as for this post, it is just lovely!
