Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Mosaic Dome This 50 foot soaring dome and its supporting columns are too much absorb in one single photograph with a general wide angle lens. (I shot this photo at 18mm.) The artistic detail and intricacy of this mosaic work is stunning. Such "Mosaic Dome" structures in the Middle East reflect staggering architectural and engineering details. To look up and stare at domes of this nature is to take in it's repetitive beauty and style.

This is such a difficult kind of shot, because it has to be absolutely symmetrical to work well -- but you've done it! Congratulations. It's gorgeous.

A really stunning ceiling and I'll bet that's real gold up there. Great lighting in this shot too.

CITIZENS of our world, check my website for a riveting, informational video that concerns all of you and the future of our globe. You will be flabbergasted, annoyed, distressed, in disbelief, but you will have been made aware of the WARNINGS. See this film. It gets better as it goes along, but will have your attention from the first quote.

Boy, if ever there was a Caedes image that could please both the site's photographers and fractal/abstracters - and everyone in between, for that matter - I'd think that this would be it. Wonderful composition and exposure. More dynamic than a shot taken directly beneath the center point and full of color and intriguing patterns. Terrific capture.
