I enjoyed shooting the Eiffel tower in segments, because I did not have a wide angle lens available, but was working with a Canon 24-70mm L Series lens. Therefore I could not capture the whole structure while being so close to the tower. The Eiffel tower is one of the most recognized structures in the world. What could be more majestic than the lighting in Paris at night? Standing beneath the Eiffel tower at night is breathtaking. Gaussian Blur technique in effect.

I like the guassian blur effect that focuses our eyes on the center of the tower which is definitely clear. Lovely image and a great shot working within the limitations of that lens.

I'd prefer it without the blur effect I must say, but still a lovely shot. Nice lighting all over it.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Nice perspective, and a great alterative to trying to capture the whole tower. The blurring is a nice effect and works to bring focus to the centre of the image. Good stuff.
