I believe this is some sort of Gomphus_Floccosus species, though i've rarely seen it in this striking Redish-Orange hue. Then again this photo was taken by "mayne" so the abnormal is not inconceivable. I've cropped/resized and added a few touches here and there, but nothing drastic. Thank you Darryl for letting me post this great find!

I like the way it almost looks luminous. Of course I'm not surprised to see that Mushroom Man, er, Darryl took this. His work is always different - and I mean that in a good way. I'm sure you've enhanced it as well. Nice one.
